Well, in a nut shell we’re kind of like the Masons. You want to be in… you gotta ask. Usually we don’t discriminate. We take all players seriously, except for Steven Purdy from Hanover MA. Membership is actually pretty simple. There are a few requirements that you can look over and if you feel as though you meet those requirements and you also think you can keep up with the Med’s. Players seeking membership into the Team are required to be a Firefighter, EMT, Cop or military (active or veteran). (Few exceptions) Must be 18 years of age or older. (No exceptions) Must be capable of paying their own admission fees and regularly purchasing their own paintball supplies (paint, and Tools, etc). Must also have own transportation. (No exceptions) Prospective membership: Prospective membership is available to anyone interested in joining the team. These prospective members simply show up at team events and express a desire to observe and play alongside the team. All players interested in joining the team must play a minimum of 6 playing days with the team (some players may require more or less), and must play with a minimum of 7 of the teams existing members, at this time the prospective member may then petition for full membership. Full membership: The decision to accept the player as a full member will be made by the team and that decision will be relayed to the player no more than two weeks after meeting the play time requirement. Full members are expected to conform to all requirements listed in these bylaws, and demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of woodsball and the team’s overall spirit.
